Biog:
Chris started playing guitar before the wheel was invented, and formed his
first band when he was still at school. He turned pro at the age of eighteen
and played mainly bass , and set out to conquer the world! He has toured with several bands in Spain, France, Germany, Switzerland, Norway, Dubai, Malaysia and the UK, and has featured on several top 10 hits as a session player and on many many other tracks which weren’t hits! After settling down back in his home town of Weston-Super-Mare, he became a music teacher by day and managed a night club in the evenings, during which time he discovered dj'ing and presented shows for Orchard Fm. |
When
the recession hit the entertainment industry in the early 90's, Chris moved
to Tenerife. He started working in Tenerife for a local newspaper, before becoming sales manager for the Holiday Gazette magazine in 1993, and joined Oasis Fm in August 1997 as a presenter. He has since joined Oasis as a full-time member of the sales team. Chris has had a life long experience in the music business and promotional world of advertising, he can offer a wealth of suggestions to help you succeed - which is why he loves working for Oasis Fm. His wit and silliness have been influenced by the likes of Kenny Everett and Steve Wright. Quote: “I feel that folks on a holiday island ought to have fun wherever possible, and if I can help, so be it!" |
