As a kid his earliest memory was sticking his head right into his Dads speakers to get more into the tunes. Add to that mixing up tapes and making radio shows from his bedroom a firm foundation. From there he finally grew up and got a degree from Birmingham University. Something much more important than that though happened in the midlands in the 90's…. he discovered DJing. A natural partnership was born – he was hooked and it has dominated his life ever since. Chris was itching to push his radio and DJ career. He started off at FOX FM in Oxford and worked his way via stations as far away as Kent and slowly moved along the South coast via Southampton and Bournemouth to his current home London. The year 2000 arrived and a fresh faced Chris started work at the legendary NRG radio station in Bournemouth. NRG was aimed firmly at 15 – 25 year olds and was a dynamic dance and R&B driven station, it was dream come true. Cue a 5 year relationship which saw him progress from evening presenter to the boss of programming. By 2005 the commercial pressure to take the radio station from its dance roots to a mainstream audience led him to set out on his own. Becoming self employed and DJing alongside extensive Studio and Freelance radio work he went from strength to strength. Following successful broadcasts from Ibiza since 2002 Chris leapt at the chance to spend the whole summer of 2005 working at HFM Ibiza based at the world renowned Café Mambo. During this time he kept up DJ commitments in the UK by flying back to the UK twice a month and ran the day to day presenter team on the White Isle. The summer was busy on top of that, recording live sets for ‘Radio 1's Essential mix' with Tiesto at Amnesia and interviewing the likes of Armin, Paul Van Dyk, Pete Tong and Roger Sanchez for a variety of international radio and TV projects. Currently Chris is resident
at Hed Kandi at Fire Station in Bournemouth and at the much talked about
after party until 7am at 176.He also plays fortnightly at Tempation in
Bournemouth (one of the towns longest running club nights), and at the
awesome ‘Banus' in Weymouth. Additionally guest slots for Ministry of
Sound at clubs in Nottingham, Ireland, Southampton, Dublin and Glasgow
keep him busy. |

Dave Vega set foot into
the Dance world at the tender age of 12 being influenced by a family friend
who just so happened to run one of the UK's most legendary night clubs.
Countless nights supposedly spent on home work were spent locked into
two turntables and a mixer much to the dismay of his beloved parents.
By 16 Dave was Thursday, Friday
and Saturday night resident at his home town's premier night spot, resident
at legendary northern Warehouse rave ‘Funky Monkey' and was by 17 already
running two hugely successful promotions NYC Technique and Deep Fuss.
