THE LINE-UP:
JASON MANFORD is a versatile comedian, actor, presenter, and writer. His comedy journey began at Manchester’s Buzz Comedy Club in 1999. Jason, who was 17, was collecting glasses when a performer didn’t arrive for an evening set, so he stepped in to fill the gap, an event which marked the beginning of his comedy career. He swiftly rose to fame, winning the City Life North West Comedian of the Year award after just six gigs. Known for his role as team captain on Channel 4’s “8 out of 10 Cats,” he’s become a prominent comic with numerous TV appearances. Jason hosted “Show Me The Funny” and his show “Comedy Rocks with Jason Manford” on ITV.
In February 2022, Jason joined the judging panel of ITV’s new Saturday night prime time entertainment show, ‘Starstruck’. The same month also saw Jason return to ‘The Masked Singer’ as Hedgehog, where he performed a duet in the final with winner Natalie Imbruglia.
He also ventured into musical theatre, toured extensively with his comedy shows, and has released albums. He’s a popular radio host on Absolute Radio and has tried his hand at TV game shows like “Bigheads” and “First & Last.”
Jason launched Manford's Comedy Club in 2013 and since then it has gone from strength to strength. From Holiday Parks to Art Centres and from bustling City Centre's to quiet out of town theatres, Manford’s Comedy Club has delivered a lot of laughs to a lot of people… and now here for the first time in Tenerife!
CHRIS WASHINGTON is one of the most sought after new acts on the circuit. With a cheeky Northern charm and hilarious tales, it's clear to see why he is flying up the comedy ladder. He began performing comedy in 2012 and in 2017 made his Edinburgh Fringe debut with his self-produced show 'Dream Big (Within Reason)', was nominated for best newcomer.
He has made TV appearances on Live from the BBC, Mock the Week and, in October 2021, Richard Osman's House of Games.
ALLYSON JUNE SMITH is a Canadian comedienne who now lives in Manchester. Her comedic gift is making every room, whatever the size, feel like an intimate group therapy session. That intimacy, that uncommon bond between audience and performer is at the heart of Allyson’s magic as a comedian. She may have disappointed her parents when she turned her back on teaching to become a stand-up comic – but sorry Dad, it was the comedy world’s turn to gain.
Following a string of support dates, Jason Manford described her as: “Simply one of the funniest comedians I’ve ever worked with!
