Blue are back. The iconic boyband, made up of Simon Webbe, Lee Ryan, Anthony Costa and Duncan James, have announced their long-awaited comeback, much to the delight of their loyal fans. The group took to Instagram yesterday to share the news, confirming that a brand-new album titled Reflections will be released in January, followed by a 25th Anniversary Tour in April and May 2026.
Formed in 2000, Blue quickly became one of the UK’s biggest pop acts of the early 2000s, producing a string of chart-topping hits including All Rise, One Love, and Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word featuring Elton John. Their signature blend of slick harmonies, R&B influences and catchy choruses made them standout performers at a time when boybands dominated the charts.

After releasing three studio albums, the group went on hiatus in 2004 as each member pursued individual projects. However, in January 2011 they reunited and went on to represent the United Kingdom at the Eurovision Song Contest in Düsseldorf with the song I Can. Although they finished in 11th place with 100 points, the performance introduced Blue to a whole new audience across Europe and reignited interest in the band.
In 2013, Blue joined ITV’s The Big Reunion, a hit series that saw six defunct groups including Liberty X, Atomic Kitten and 5ive come back together for a one-off show. Blue’s involvement proved hugely popular, reminding fans why they fell in love with the band more than a decade earlier.
Despite their popularity, Blue faced setbacks in the years that followed. Their fifth studio album Colours, released in 2015, underperformed commercially, resulting in them being dropped by Sony. Still, the group continued to tour, particularly across Europe and Asia, where their fanbase remained dedicated and supportive.
Now, more than 20 years since their debut, Blue are preparing to mark their 25th anniversary with a fresh chapter in their musical journey. The announcement of Reflections has generated huge excitement, with fans eager to hear what direction the group will take musically after all these years. The accompanying tour, which will take place across the UK and Europe in 2026, is expected to feature all their classic hits as well as new material.

Speaking on Instagram, the band shared their excitement at the reunion and the chance to celebrate this milestone with their supporters. For many fans, Blue’s music defined a period of their lives, and the opportunity to relive those memories while creating new ones is proving irresistible.
With their charm, strong vocals and undeniable stage presence, Blue are hoping to remind the world why they were once one of the UK’s most successful pop groups. The return of Simon, Lee, Antony and Duncan is set to be one of the major pop events of the next year, with Reflections and the anniversary tour promising to cement their place in British pop history once again.
