CELEBRITY JUICE REUNION RUMOURS: CHRISTINE LAMPARD TEASES POSSIBLE RETURN OF ITV FAVOURITE

Rumours are swirling that one of ITV’s most outrageous and beloved comedy shows, Celebrity Juice, could soon be making a sensational return, after Christine Lampard hinted at a reunion with Leigh Francis, aka Keith Lemon.

The hit panel show, which first aired in 2008, ran for 26 series and became a late-night staple for audiences who couldn’t get enough of its outrageous humour, cheeky games, and celebrity antics. Hosted by the unpredictable and hilarious Keith Lemon, the show featured a rotating panel of stars including Holly Willoughby, Fearne Cotton, Mel B, Emily Atack, and Laura Whitmore over the years.

After it wrapped up in 2022, fans were left heartbroken, but new hints suggest the mayhem might not be over just yet.

During Monday’s edition of This Morning, presenters Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley crossed live to the Loose Women panel to tease what was coming up on ITV later in the day. Spotting a perfect opportunity, Ben couldn’t resist pressing Christine Lampard, one of the show’s familiar faces, about whether Celebrity Juice was set for a comeback.

“Christine Lampard, you’ve been hanging out with Leigh Francis,” Ben teased. “Are you all getting back together? Is there going to be more Celeb Juice? Come on.”

Christine, looking slightly flustered, gave a coy response that only fuelled speculation further.

“I can’t confirm or deny any of the above, I’m afraid,” she said with a smile. “But yes, there was a reunion of sorts.”

Her playful comment immediately sparked excitement among viewers, who took to social media to demand answers. One fan posted on X (formerly Twitter): “A reunion of sorts?! Don’t tease us, Christine! We need more Keith Lemon chaos back on our screens!”

Another wrote: “If Celebrity Juice returns, ITV late nights will finally be fun again!”

While no official confirmation has been made by ITV or Leigh Francis himself, rumours have been building for months that a one-off special episode or reunion series could be in the works, possibly to celebrate the show’s 15th anniversary.

An insider previously told The Sun:

“Leigh has been talking about doing something with the old gang again. He knows people still love Celebrity Juice, and there’s been real interest from ITV in bringing it back in some form, even if just for a special.”

Celebrity Juice made household names out of its regulars, while its daring humour and outrageous stunts divided audiences but consistently pulled in huge ratings. At its peak, the show attracted more than two million viewers per episode, cementing its place in British pop culture.

Leigh Francis has continued to keep busy with other projects, including Shopping with Keith Lemon and his stand-up tour, but fans still associate him most fondly with his wild, lemon-haired alter ego.

Whether a reunion episode, a nostalgic one-off, or a full-blown reboot is on the cards, one thing’s clear: the Celebrity Juice fanbase is ready for a comeback.

As Christine Lampard hinted, “there was a reunion of sorts”, the only question now is whether ITV will bottle that nostalgia and pop the cork on another round of late-night laughter.
