Coronation Street actress Sonia Ibrahim has announced the birth of her second child, a beautiful baby boy, and revealed his name in a heartfelt Instagram post.
Sonia, who played Mel Maguire on the long-running ITV soap, shared the joyful news with her followers on Friday. The actress and her husband, Arron Machin, welcomed their son a week ago but waited to make the announcement public until now.
Their little bundle of joy has been named Carter Benjamin Machin.

In the touching post, Sonia uploaded a tender black-and-white photo of herself and her newborn son, nose to nose, with Carter snuggled in her arms. Alongside the sweet snap, Sonia wrote:
