Hollywood Bombshell Sells Soap Made From Her Bathwater – Yes, Really!

Hollywood Bombshell Sells Soap Made From Her Bathwater – Yes, Really!

In one of the most bizarre yet intriguing celebrity product launches of the year, Euphoria star Sydney Sweeney has stunned fans by announcing she's selling bars of soap infused with her actual used bathwater.

The 26-year-old actress, known for her breakout roles in Euphoria, The White Lotus, and Anyone But You, unveiled the unexpected product on social media in collaboration with natural soap brand Dr. Squatch. The limited-edition item is called Sydney’s Bathwater Bliss, and according to both Sweeney and the brand, it’s 100% real.

Described as “a perfect combination of the two best places on the planet: the outdoors and Sydney Sweeney’s bathtub,” the soap is said to contain a unique mix of ingredients including pine, earthy moss, and a literal “touch of Sydney’s very own bathwater.”

The actress confirmed the release in a joint Instagram post with Dr. Squatch, writing: “This is very real. It smells like ‘morning wood’ and it’s gonna be very limited. You’ve been warned.”

The campaign has already gone viral online, with fans divided between those eager to grab the quirky collector’s item and others questioning whether celebrity merchandise has officially gone too far. Some are calling it a bold marketing move, while others are just… confused.

Dr. Squatch, known for its natural, handmade soaps and rugged branding, leans into the humour of it all, describing the scent as “woodsy and provocative,” and the bar as “infused with true Hollywood essence.”

Set to go on sale on June 6, Sydney’s Bathwater Bliss will be released in extremely limited quantities, adding to the buzz and driving a frenzy among collectors and diehard fans of the actress. Pricing details haven’t yet been confirmed, but given the hype, it’s safe to say these bars won’t stay on the shelves for long.

This isn’t the first time a celebrity has dipped into unconventional personal branding, Gwyneth Paltrow famously released a candle “that smells like her vagina” via her Goop brand, but Sweeney’s sudsy stunt may have just raised the bar (or bath) in the realm of weird celebrity products.

Love it or loathe it, Sydney Sweeney's bathwater-infused soap proves one thing: in Hollywood, nothing sells quite like star power, and a splash of shock value.
