ISLE OF WIGHT FESTIVAL 2026: LEWIS CAPALDI AND CALVIN HARRIS A HEADLINERS

ISLE OF WIGHT FESTIVAL 2026: LEWIS CAPALDI AND CALVIN HARRIS A HEADLINERS

The Isle of Wight Festival has revealed its first wave of acts for 2026, and it’s shaping up to be one of the most exciting editions yet. Leading the charge are Lewis Capaldi and Calvin Harris, both confirmed as headliners for the iconic event.

The news comes as Lewis Capaldi continues his much-celebrated return to live music after a two-year break. The Scottish singer-songwriter took time away from touring following his emotional Glastonbury 2023 set, where he struggled to perform due to symptoms of Tourette syndrome. Fans were left touched by the moment, with the crowd singing his lyrics back to him in a show of solidarity.

Capaldi triumphantly returned to the Glastonbury stage in 2025, and now he’s set to make the Isle of Wight Festival one of the key stops on his live comeback.

“Playing live again has meant the world to me,” Lewis said in a statement earlier this year. “I can’t wait to be part of the Isle of Wight Festival, it’s such a legendary stage.”

Calvin Harris brings the party

Joining him at the top of the bill is Calvin Harris, one of the world’s biggest DJs and producers. Known for smash hits like Summer, One Kiss, and This Is What You Came For, Calvin’s live sets have headlined festivals from Las Vegas to Ibiza, and his return to the Isle of Wight promises to be a highlight of summer 2026.

A stacked supporting line-up

Beyond the headliners, the Isle of Wight Festival has secured an eclectic mix of legendary names and rising stars.

The Cure – Goth-rock icons, returning to the festival circuit with their timeless catalogue.

The Sex Pistols featuring Frank Carter – A new take on punk anthems, with Frank Carter stepping in as frontman.

The Last Dinner Party – The Mercury Prize winners and one of the UK’s most talked-about indie acts.

Wet Leg – Isle of Wight’s own breakout stars, bringing hits like Chaise Longue back to home turf.

Teddy Swims – The US soul-pop singer with a rapidly growing fanbase.

Festival organisers say the mix of genres will offer “something for everyone,” continuing the event’s legacy as one of the UK’s must-attend music weekends.

An iconic festival with history

First held in 1968, the Isle of Wight Festival has long been a staple of the UK festival calendar. From its legendary 1970 line-up that featured Jimi Hendrix and The Doors, to more recent headline performances from Fleetwood Mac, The Rolling Stones, and P!nk, the event blends history with contemporary stars.

2026 looks set to be no different, with Lewis Capaldi’s emotional return and Calvin Harris’ festival-sized anthems guaranteeing unforgettable moments.

When and where

The Isle of Wight Festival 2026 will take place at Seaclose Park, Newport, across the weekend of June 11–14, 2026. Tickets are expected to sell out quickly following the headline announcement.
