Jason Manford Forced to Cancel Show After Falling Ill

Jason Manford has been forced to pull out of a live show at the last minute after being struck down by illness.

The 43-year-old comedian, actor, and presenter was due to perform his A Manford All Seasons tour show at the Alban Arena on Wednesday night, but fans were left disappointed when the venue announced the cancellation just hours before the performance.

The statement, shared on Jason’s official social media pages, read:

“We regret to inform you that tonight’s performance of A Manford All Seasons @albanarena has been unexpectedly cancelled due to Jason Manford being unwell and will now be rescheduled to Mon 20th Oct 2025. Thank you for understanding, we apologise for any inconvenience caused.”

The message appeared to have been posted by a member of Jason’s team, rather than the comedian himself, unusual for the funnyman, who often personally interacts with fans online.

Although the exact nature of his illness hasn’t been disclosed, fans were quick to flood the comments with messages of support and well wishes.

One fan wrote: “Get well soon Jase, take it easy fella.” Another added: “Hope you get well soon Jason, I know cancelling shows is a last resort for you. Take care of yourself.”

A third commented: “Get well soon but perhaps stop burning the candle at both ends.”, a sentiment that reflects the busy schedule Jason has been keeping over the past year.

The cancellation comes just weeks after Jason hit the headlines for criticising what he called a “ridiculous policy” at a hotel he stayed in while touring. Known for his down-to-earth humour and relatable stories, Jason often shares behind-the-scenes moments from his life on the road, but illness appears to have caught up with him this week.

The good news for fans is that the show has already been rescheduled for Monday 20 October 2025, giving ticketholders a new date to look forward to. Those unable to make the rescheduled performance will likely be able to contact the venue for refund options.

Jason’s A Manford All Seasons tour has been running to packed audiences around the UK, mixing observational comedy with personal anecdotes about family life, career highs and lows, and the realities of everyday Britain.

While fans will have to wait a little longer for their fix of Manford humour, many have expressed understanding and empathy, with plenty reminding him to rest and recover.
