LUKE LITTLER PASSES DRIVING THEORY TEST AFTER MULTIPLE ATTEMPTS

Darts sensation Luke Littler has achieved a milestone many of his fans have been rooting for, passing his driving theory test.

The reigning world champion, known for his remarkable rise in the darts world at just 17, shared the news with his followers on social media. Posting a picture of his pass certificate, Littler captioned it with the phrase: “we will have a look, of course we will have a look”, along with three dancing emojis to mark the celebration.

According to reports, Littler passed the multiple-choice section of the test with the minimum required score of 43 out of 50, but he more than made up for it in the hazard perception test, where he scored an impressive 63 out of 75.

Under DVSA (Driving and Vehicle Standards Agency) rules, Littler now has two years to complete and pass his practical driving test in order to obtain a full UK driving licence.

This achievement is especially meaningful for Littler, who has been open about his struggles to pass the test. Earlier this year, in July, he revealed that he had failed the theory exam five times, sharing his frustration with fans online and sparking a wave of supportive messages.

Fans were quick to congratulate him on the long-awaited pass, flooding his post with praise and encouragement. “Sixth time lucky!” one fan wrote, while another commented: “Now get ready for the practical, you’ve got this!”

Luke Littler finally passes his driving test.

Littler’s journey to the top of professional darts has been nothing short of meteoric, and his latest milestone shows that even sporting prodigies face everyday challenges. Known for his composure under pressure during world championship finals, he admitted that the driving theory test had been a more nerve-wracking experience than he expected.

Passing the theory test also marks a significant step for Littler as he continues to balance life as a teenager with the demands of being a world-class athlete. Being able to drive will likely give him more independence as he travels between tournaments, exhibitions, and training sessions across the UK.

His next step will be booking and passing the practical driving exam, which, like many learner drivers, can take several attempts. Littler will have until 2026 to complete the process before his theory test certificate expires.

Fans will undoubtedly be watching closely and cheering him on as he works toward achieving yet another personal goal, this time away from the darts board.
