Fans of Lil Nas X were left stunned after the rapper shared a shocking health update from a hospital bed, revealing he had been rushed for treatment after suffering what appeared to be partial facial paralysis.
The Old Town Road star took to social media with a video clip showing himself lying in a hospital bed, dressed in a gown and wearing a Von Dutch baseball cap. In the clip, he attempts to smile, but only half of his face responds.
“This is me doing a full smile right now by the way,” he says, clearly concerned but trying to remain light hearted. “It’s like, what the f***? Bro, I can’t even laugh right now, bro. What the f***? Ah! Oh my God!” he added, laughing through the obvious discomfort.
The footage quickly went viral, with fans and followers expressing concern for the 24-year-old star’s well-being. Many speculated the cause of the sudden symptoms, though Lil Nas X has not disclosed an official diagnosis.
Just hours later, however, the rapper offered a more reassuring update. In a follow-up post, he appeared with both sides of his face seemingly back to normal, telling fans: “We normal over here. We get crazy over here.”
Still, the scare sparked a wave of concern online, prompting him to clarify once again that he was doing fine and there was no need for panic.
“Guys I am OK!! Stop being sad for me! Shake ur a** for me instead!” he wrote, mixing his trademark humour with a call to lighten the mood.
Known for his bold persona, creative flair, and social media savvy, Lil Nas X has built a loyal fanbase who closely follow his every move. While the health scare caught many off guard, his candid and comedic approach to the situation helped diffuse some of the worry.
