MEL AND SUE REUNITE FOR BRAND NEW ITV QUIZ SHOW WIN WIN

Comedy favourites Mel Giedroyc and Sue Perkins are set to reunite on our TV screens with a brand-new quiz show for ITV. The pair, best known for their warm humour and easy chemistry, will co-host Win Win in partnership with the People’s Postcode Lottery, and this time, it’s not just contestants in the studio who get to enjoy the fun.

The show will air every Saturday night across a six-week run and promises to bring a fresh twist to the traditional quiz format. While studio contestants will take part in a series of challenges to bag some incredible prizes, viewers at home won’t be left out. For the first time, audiences watching from their sofas can also participate, turning play along into win along. This unique interactive element means prizes won’t just be reserved for those in the studio, anyone could end up a winner.

The series will build up to a high-stakes finale where one incredibly lucky contestant will walk away with a staggering £1 million prize. ITV bosses are hoping that this innovative mix of entertainment and interactivity will make Win Win a family favourite, reminiscent of classic Saturday night viewing traditions.

For Mel and Sue, the show marks another chapter in a long and successful partnership. The duo first made their mark on television in the 1990s, and later became household names as co-hosts of The Great British Bake Off. Their warmth, quick wit, and unmistakable chemistry made them firm fan favourites, with many viewers still nostalgic for their time in the Bake Off tent.

Since leaving the show in 2016, both have enjoyed successful solo careers. Sue has become a regular face across comedy, travel, and quiz programmes, while Mel has fronted a variety of entertainment shows and stage productions. Their reunion for Win Win is already being welcomed by fans who have long hoped to see the pair back together on a major primetime project.

An ITV spokesperson said: “We are thrilled to be bringing Mel and Sue back together for Win Win. Their humour and warmth are perfect for this exciting new format, which is all about giving everyone, both in the studio and at home, a real chance to take part and win big.”

The collaboration with the People’s Postcode Lottery also means the show will be firmly rooted in community spirit, with winnings tied to the lottery’s tradition of raising money for good causes. Viewers can expect not just high-energy entertainment and big prizes, but also heart-warming stories of how participation helps fund charities across the UK.

For audiences, the prospect of watching Mel and Sue back in their element on a Saturday night, while also having the chance to take home prizes themselves, makes Win Win a welcome addition to the TV schedule. Whether you’re playing along from your living room or cheering on contestants in the studio, this is one quiz show that lives up to its name.
