In a cheeky nod to Manchester music legends Oasis, Aldi has temporarily rebranded one of its Manchester stores to “Aldeh”, celebrating the city’s upcoming Oasis reunion tour, which is set to kick off in just a few weeks.
The supermarket giant, known for its humour-filled marketing, made the change overnight, unveiling new signage on its Store Street branch, right in the heart of Manchester. Locals woke up to see the iconic Aldi logo altered to reflect Liam Gallagher’s signature Mancunian drawl, replacing the name with a stylised "Aldeh", a playful homage to how he might pronounce it himself.
This unexpected tribute comes as excitement reaches fever pitch over Oasis’ long-awaited reunion. Though the brothers have not officially confirmed the reunion themselves, industry insiders and multiple sources have hinted that Liam and Noel Gallagher are planning to reunite on stage in Manchester later this summer for the first time in over a decade.

A spokesperson for Aldi said:
“As a brand proudly loved across Manchester and the UK, we thought it was only right to honour the greatest band to come out of the city. Aldeh, it just felt right.”
Fans have flocked to the Store Street branch for selfies, with many posting photos of the new sign on social media using hashtags like #Aldeh and #OasisReunion. Some even joked that Aldi should bring out a special “Champagne Super Offers” section in store.
Liam Gallagher himself caught wind of the rebrand and posted on X (formerly Twitter), saying: “Aldeh. Class. Might nip in for some choc ices.”
