RuPaul’s Drag Race UK is about to get even louder, as Nadine Coyle has been confirmed as a guest judge on the brand-new series.
The BBC’s hit drag competition will return later this year with more outrageous runway looks, bigger challenges, and plenty of celebrity guest appearances. Twelve new queens will enter the werkroom, each hoping to snatch the crown and become the UK’s next drag superstar.
Alongside RuPaul and long-standing judges Michelle Visage, Graham Norton, and Alan Carr, Nadine Coyle will take her place on the judging panel to lend her star power and pop expertise. Nadine won fame as part of Girls Aloud, the chart-topping girl group formed in 2002 through ITV’s Popstars: The Rivals. With hits like Sound of the Underground, Biology, and Something Kinda Ooooh, she became known for her powerhouse vocals and distinct personality, both of which are sure to add extra sparkle to her Drag Race debut.
But Nadine isn’t the only famous face joining the series. Sugababe Mutya Buena, comedians Sophie Willan and Joel Dommett, and Chewing Gum star Susan Wokoma will all appear as celebrity guest judges across the season.
