Fans have long wondered what the atmosphere would be like between Liam and Noel Gallagher as Oasis hit the road for their monumental reunion tour, and according to their support band, the vibes couldn’t be better.
John Power, frontman of Liverpool band Cast, who are supporting Oasis on all 19 dates of the UK and Ireland leg of the Oasis Live ‘25 tour, has shared glowing praise for the Gallagher brothers.
Speaking to Vulture, Power said:
“They seem to be in an absolutely wonderful place. They both genuinely… well, of course they want to be there, but you can feel the positive energy. It’s all going hunky-dory.”
It’s a welcome update for fans, many of whom feared the band’s famously fiery sibling dynamic could resurface during the highly anticipated comeback. Instead, it appears the brothers are united in their mission to make this reunion tour a success.
Power also shared that Liam Gallagher’s usual online antics have taken a backseat during the tour, and for good reason.
“He’s very, very focused at the moment. I know that this tour means a hell of a lot, if not the world, to him. He’s doing everything to make sure that he can go on.”
Liam, who was once known for his unfiltered Twitter commentary, has been noticeably quieter on social media since the start of the tour. According to Power, this is all part of his commitment to preserving his voice.
“The worst thing is if you’re tired, because your voice gets knackered and a bit strained. He’s in top form at the moment. Whatever he’s doing, he’s doing the right things because his voice sounds absolutely wonderful.”
The Oasis Live ‘25 tour marks the first time in over 15 years that the band has performed together, and demand for tickets was nothing short of phenomenal, with all dates selling out within minutes.
Fans are being treated to a career-spanning setlist, from early Britpop classics like Live Forever and Supersonic to later anthems such as The Importance of Being Idle.
With Cast opening each night, the atmosphere is electric before Oasis even hit the stage, and judging by Power’s comments, things are just as harmonious behind the scenes.
