Oops! Rizzle Kicks Accidentally Reveal Glastonbury Comeback

Rizzle Kicks have unintentionally let slip that they’ll be performing at Glastonbury Festival this year,  sending fans into a frenzy nearly a decade after their last appearance.

The accidental announcement came during a livestream on Arsenal’s pre-match show, where Jordan Stephens appeared alongside Roman Kemp. In a moment of overexcitement, Kemp blurted out, “You’re playing Glastonbury this year,” catching Stephens completely off guard.

Looking visibly startled, the Rizzle Kicks star responded, “I haven’t actually announced that yet…” prompting Kemp to quickly backtrack with a tongue-in-cheek correction: “You’re not playing Glastonbury this year…”

Trying to play it cool, Jordan added, “It’s gonna come out at some point,” more or less confirming that the reunion is indeed happening, much to the delight of their loyal fanbase.

The slip-up has sparked a wave of excitement online, with fans thrilled at the prospect of seeing the British hip-hop duo return to the iconic Worthy Farm stage. One fan posted, “Yay, I hope I can see them,” while another celebrated, “Last time was like 10 years ago. New album too, can’t wait!”

Rizzle Kicks, known for hits like Down with the Trumpets and Mama Do the Hump, last performed at Glastonbury in the early 2010s, during the peak of their chart success. The duo, made up of Jordan Stephens and Harley Alexander-Sule, have largely pursued solo projects in recent years, with Jordan also gaining attention for his acting and high-profile relationship with Little Mix star Jade Thirlwall.

The accidental reveal now has fans wondering if the long-speculated Rizzle Kicks reunion could include new music alongside the festival appearance, a possibility fans are clearly eager for.

While there’s still no official word from Glastonbury or the band’s reps, it seems safe to say the cat’s out of the bag. And if this surprise turns out to be true, festival-goers could be in for a seriously nostalgic treat.
