Fans of Rag’n’Bone Man were left devastated last night after the British soul sensation cancelled his headline show in Kaunas, Lithuania, just hours before he was due on stage.
The Human hitmaker, whose real name is Rory Graham, had been set to perform to an eager crowd as part of his current European tour. However, illness forced the 39-year-old to pull out of the show at the last minute, sparking an outpouring of disappointment from fans who had travelled from across the country, and even from abroad, to see him.
In an official statement, his team wrote:
“Show cancellation today. We’re deeply sorry to let you know that today’s concert in Kaunas has been cancelled as Rag’n’Bone Man has unfortunately fallen ill.
He is currently seeking medical care and we wish him a speedy recovery.”
The announcement acknowledged the frustration and inconvenience the decision would cause, adding:
“We know many of you were looking forward to the show and may have travelled or made special plans, we truly appreciate your understanding at this time.
Rory will be so upset to have to cancel this show and will be working hard to schedule a show in Lithuania soon.”
The news quickly spread online, with fans taking to social media to share their disappointment. Many expressed sadness but also sent well wishes to the singer, whose powerful voice and heartfelt lyrics have earned him a loyal international following.
One fan wrote on X: “Absolutely gutted, but health comes first. Get well soon, Rory!” while another added: “We flew in just for this concert, but I hope he takes the time he needs to recover.”
While no new date has been confirmed, the statement suggests that efforts are already underway to bring the show back to Lithuania. Given the scale of the disappointment and the strong ticket sales, it’s expected that organisers will work quickly to secure a new performance date once the singer’s health allows.
Rag’n’Bone Man has not yet made a personal statement beyond the official release, but those close to the singer say he is focused on rest and recovery so he can return to the stage as soon as possible.
The Kaunas show was part of a run of European performances following a busy summer festival season.
