RIZZLE KICKS ANNOUNCE BIGGEST HEADLINE SHOW YET AT LONDON’S ALEXANDRA PALACE

Rizzle Kicks are officially back, and they’re going bigger than ever. The much-loved Brighton pop-rap duo, made up of Jordan Stephens and Harley Alexander-Sulé, have announced their biggest headline show to date, set to take place at London’s Alexandra Palace on Friday, May 22, 2026.

The huge gig will celebrate the release of their highly anticipated 2025 comeback album, Competition Is For Losers, marking the band’s first major project in over a decade. For fans who grew up on their infectious blend of hip-hop, soul, and British charm, this is the reunion they’ve been waiting for.

Formed in 2008, Rizzle Kicks shot to fame with hits like Down With The Trumpets, Mama Do The Hump, and When I Was A Youngster, bringing a burst of playful energy and sharp lyrical wit to the UK charts. Their distinctive sound, upbeat, cheeky, and often socially conscious, made them one of the most original British acts of the early 2010s.

After taking time away to pursue solo projects, with Jordan Stephens carving out a successful career as an actor, writer, and campaigner, and Harley focusing on music under the name Jimi Charles Moody, the pair recently confirmed they were reuniting. The new album’s title, Competition Is For Losers, perfectly captures the tongue-in-cheek humour that made Rizzle Kicks so beloved in the first place.

Speaking about the significance of the upcoming show, Harley Alexander-Sulé shared a heartfelt message about his connection to the venue:

“The first football team I ever played for was the Alexandra Palace Broncos. I would go to fireworks night there every single year. I would go ice skating every Christmas. Ally Pally was such a big part of my life and now I get to play there. A genuine dream come true.”

For the band, performing at the historic north London landmark, affectionately known as “Ally Pally”, marks both a homecoming and a career milestone. With a capacity of over 10,000, it’s a fitting stage for a duo whose music defined a generation of fun, festival-ready pop.

The show promises a mix of old favourites and brand-new material from Competition Is For Losers, giving fans the best of both worlds. Rizzle Kicks’ high-energy live performances, backed by brass-heavy beats and clever lyricism, have always been a highlight, and this long-awaited return is expected to be no exception.

Tickets for the Alexandra Palace concert go on general sale at 10am this Friday, and demand is already expected to be sky-high. Fans can sign up for presale alerts via the band’s official website or ticketing partners.

Rizzle Kicks’ comeback is more than just nostalgia, it’s a reminder of the duo’s impact on the British music scene and a celebration of their enduring friendship. Their sound, spirit, and playful take on life feel as fresh as ever.

After years away, it seems Rizzle Kicks are ready to bring the trumpet back, louder than ever.
