Taylor Swift has confirmed the release of a brand-new docuseries and concert film, both celebrating the phenomenal success of her record-shattering Eras Tour.
The global superstar wrapped the 21-month tour in December last year, closing out an astonishing 149-show run in Vancouver that spanned five continents, welcomed millions of fans, and grossed over $2 billion in ticket sales, making it the highest-grossing concert tour of all time.
The six-part docuseries, titled The End of an Era, will premiere its first two episodes on Disney+ on December 12, with two more episodes dropping each week for the following two weeks.
On the same day, Disney+ will also debut a brand-new concert film, Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour, The Final Show, giving viewers an intimate look at her final Vancouver performance at BC Place, a night that marked the emotional conclusion of one of the most iconic tours ever staged.
In a heartfelt message to fans shared across her social media channels, Taylor wrote:
“It was the End of an Era and we knew it. We wanted to remember every moment leading up to the culmination of the most important and intense chapter of our lives, so we allowed filmmakers to capture this tour and all the stories woven throughout it as it wound down. And to film the final show in its entirety.”
