WET LEG ANNOUNCE HUGE 2026 UK OUTDOOR

Indie darlings Wet Leg are gearing up for their most ambitious live run to date, announcing a trio of massive outdoor UK shows for July 2026, including a huge night at London’s Alexandra Palace Park.

The chart-topping five-piece will kick off the run at Manchester’s Castlefield Bowl on July 8, before heading to Leeds’ Millennium Square on July 9 and wrapping things up at Alexandra Palace Park in London on July 10. The newly announced dates mark the biggest headline gigs of Wet Leg’s career so far.

Fans can also look forward to support from Leeds-based rising stars English Teacher, who will join Wet Leg on all three outdoor dates next summer.

The announcement follows the band’s previously revealed November 2025 UK tour, which will see them headline venues including the Royal Albert Hall in London, Liverpool’s Mountford Hall, and Nottingham’s Rock City, among others.

Wet Leg will also return to the Isle of Wight Festival in June 2026, a special homecoming performance for the duo-turned-five-piece who first met and formed on the island.

The announcement comes as the band prepare to release their eagerly anticipated second studio album, We Are Wet Leg, which drops early next year. The album is the follow-up to their 2022 self-titled debut, a critically acclaimed record that saw them scoop Best New Artist and Best British Group at the 2023 Brit Awards.

Since their breakout hit Chaise Longue first went viral in 2021, Wet Leg have become one of the UK’s most celebrated indie acts, known for their playful lyrics, punk-infused sound, and irresistible energy on stage.

Their live reputation has only grown stronger, with sold-out shows across the UK, a US tour supporting Harry Styles, and standout performances at Glastonbury and Coachella.

Speaking recently about their evolution, frontwoman Rhian Teasdale said the band are excited to keep things fresh:

“We never expected it to blow up like it did. We just want to keep having fun with it and make music that makes people feel something, whether that’s joy, chaos, or just the urge to dance.”

Tickets for Wet Leg’s new outdoor shows go on general sale this Friday at 10am, with pre-sale access available to fans who pre-order their upcoming album.

With momentum showing no signs of slowing, next summer looks set to be another milestone moment for the Isle of Wight exports who continue to prove that Wet Leg are far more than a one-hit wonder, they’re one of Britain’s most exciting modern bands.
